The nursery child is beginning to understand that her body, mind and feelings are her own. She is showing a wide range of feelings including affection for familiar people. Her self-esteem develops and starts to form real friendships and develop more social skills. She also becomes fascinated by the world around her. She would ask questions as she tries to understand more about her world. Through the different hands–on activities that we provide the children, we encourage them to talk, think and imagine. We also help reinforce social and moral values such as sharing, respect for others and the environment. By introducing more academic concepts in literacy, math, science, culture, art and Mandarin, we help prepare the children for their journey in the academics.
